I am extremely saddened to report the news that our colleague Colin Grundy, a QSAP at Kings Lynn, has passed away after a period of illness.

Colin had been with the Trust for five years; enthusiastic, committed and professional, he embodied everything good about the ambulance service and will be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him. His positivity was infectious and rubbed off on colleagues and patients alike.

At this difficult time, I am sure you will all join me in conveying our deepest sympathies to Colin’s family and friends; if you would like to pass a message of support to his family, you can do so by contacting me at terry.hicks@eastamb.nhs.uk

Colin’s funeral will take place on Friday, 27th February at 9.15am at the Kings Lynn Crematorium for those of you that would like to attend. Understandably many of us who knew Colin well, particularly those in Kings Lynn, will wish to go to the funeral and we would be very grateful for any assistance others can give in providing cover on the day. Please contact me at the above address if you are able to help.

With best wishes,

Terry Hicks, Senior Locality Manager for west Norfok
