Colleagues needed for V-Festival

V Festival logo OPT

We’re on the lookout again for colleagues to work at this year’s V Festival.

We’re providing emergency cover for the four-day event at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, with the aim of treating patients at the event and avoiding hospital admissions where possible.

This year the festival, which is running from 19th – 22nd August, is celebrating its 21st anniversary, and the line-up is set to include crowd-pulling artists like Justin Bieber, Sia, Rihanna, David Guetta and the Kaiser Chiefs.

We’re after emergency care practitioners, paramedics, technicians, nurses, emergency care assistants and patient transport service staff for both day and night shifts across the four days. We’ll also need a number of managers to work as sector commanders.

Normal overtime rates are payable, but you are required to be on a rest day as our core-service can’t be compromised.

If you want more information, or would like to cover a shift, please contact Duty Locality Officer Martin Butterfield at martin.butterfield@eastamb.nhs.uk.  When you get in touch, please list your shift availability and include a contact number.

Please be aware that no accommodation is available for staff working at the event.
