Coming soon – the Service Delivery Support Hub

A new hub is set to be launched next month to support crew welfare and assist with the smooth running of frontline operations.

The Trust will be introducing a new dedicated radio channel in early April so that all crews will be able to have direct contact with the Service Delivery Support Hub.

The hub will be based in the Regional Coordination Centre (RCC) at Chelmsford EOC and will be operational 24 hours a day.

It will be able to assist with a number of matters including requests to book unavailable, assistance in the management of breakdowns with the local management teams, review and manage out of service at hospitals, provide support in helping crews booking on duty at the commencement of their shift, support local managers and staff in crew welfare and provide a reporting tool to managers throughout their shift.

The Trust will be releasing a one page pocket guide to all stations and staff nearer to the time of the launch providing further information on when and how the Service Delivery Support Hub should be used and a further update on Need to Know.
