Community first responders urged to stay secure

On Tuesday (8^th September), one of our community first responders (CFRs) had their CFR kit stolen from the back of their car.

This is a shocking incident but unfortunately we do have rare cases where someone steals our life-saving kit and equipment. Whilst we can’t stop a determined thief from attempting to steal equipment, please do take some simple steps like making sure any kit is not on show in your vehicle and keeping all kit locked away either in a car or your house.

Fortunately the majority of the kit has now been recovered, but if you are victim to such a theft please contact your CFR co-ordinator and community partnership manager who will be able to advise you on what to do next, and provide you with support.
