Compassionate Communities' Dying Matters Week

safeguarding

Dying Matters Awareness Week is held annually to encourage communities, individuals and organisations to have open conversations about death, dying and bereavement.

This year, Dying Matters Week (10th - 16th May 2021) focuses on the importance of being 'in a good place to die.'

To mark the occasion, Compassionate Communities East are hosting a number of online events, creating a space for us to think about what it means to be in a good place to die.

Compassionate Communities is a community-led initiative that encourages people to talk openly about improving services, approach and support available for end of life care.

You can learn to build your compassionate conversation skills, learn how to help grieving children and discover more about funeral directors at the events.
