Compassionate Companions

EEAST is part of the Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group End of Life Programme Board, which has shared this video about their important work with Compassionate Communities UK, and in particular, the role of our Compassionate Companions. 

Companions volunteer and are trained within the community and work alongside medical teams to empower people with life-limiting conditions to live fully before they die and to know the choices they have before they reach end of life.
