Confidential Care: the Trust’s employee assistance programme

Since January 2014, the Trust has offered all employees and their family members free access to emotional and practical support through an employee assistance programme (EAP), Confidential Care.

This is provided by employee support specialists CiC and you can choose when and how to make contact with them – and you can discuss any issues or concerns that you may have, regarding work or personal circumstances.

In addition to emotional support, CiC can provide you with practical support, including debt management advice, legal and tax advice, child, elder and disability care issues and general information and support services.

CiC can also provide you with a fast referral for up to six sessions of counselling, (face-to-face, telephone or online), if you and the telephone advisor decide that this may be helpful.

CiC is a completely independent organisation so you can be confident that information that you share with us is kept confidential.

The Confidential Care service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is accessed by calling the freephone number 0800 085 1376.
