Covid Vaccination programme update

Following the update yesterday that we have been granted permission to begin our own vaccination programme for EEAST staff, I am pleased to report that we will begin to vaccinate staff from this afternoon and open vaccination clinics throughout the region from Monday 11^th of January.  

Regularity of the clinics will be subject to availability of the vaccine, but we will be putting them on as often as possible. 

Access to the slots will be via Evolve and is open now and is visible to front line clinical staff. We are prioritising our front-line, patient-facing staff including those high risk. All staff will have access to Evolve, and you can find out further information about Evolve on East24.

As the clinics develop, they will become more widely visible to all EEAST staff to book on a slot. 
We'd like to remind staff to have their NHS Number available when booking their vaccination. This can be found via the NHS App, through your GP surgery, on repeat prescriptions and hospital letters.

We are working with PHE and NHSE to try and get as many vaccines delivered as soon as possible in order to open up more clinics.
