CQC inspection: What you need to know

NHS logo

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is currently inspecting the Trust; visiting stations and offices and talking to staff about the service we provide our patients.

Last week we posted our in-depth CQC guide for staff to help address any questions you may have about these inspections and what they are looking for. View our guide here

If you are approached, please be honest. It is important to remember that inspectors are finding out about how we care for patients. We have plenty to be proud of and more importantly, nothing to hide.

Please ensure that you check for CQC inspector ID badges (they should also have a red visitors lanyard) and make sure all visitors have signed in to your site visitor book.

If you do speak to an inspector or have one come to your station, please contact Lewis Andrews afterwards. Lewis is our single point of contact for the inspection for the Trust and can be contacted on 07834 249846.
