In the latest edition of CQM (autumn 2020), I posted an article on "Safe Decision-making in Clinical Practice" but failed to cite the source of the content - Dr. Paul Silverston (2018). I'd like to thank Dr. Silverston for the use of of his lecture material. Dr Silverston is a visiting Professor in the Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine & Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University. He has written extensively on safe consulting, safety netting, diagnostic uncertainty and diagnostic error. I would encourage everyone to read more of his advice on this topic at
