Cyber security notice

Colleagues are asked to be extra careful online over the next few days due to the expected increase in attempts to con people, particularly via email, due to Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and offers.  

Please ensure you are extra vigilant around the emails you receive - if you don’t recognise the email address, don’t open it, don’t click any links, or open any attachments in the email.

Please also be careful around the websites you are visiting, making sure the address of the site you are visiting is the correct address. Our IT defence systems will stop the vast majority of online attempts, but there is always potential for some to break through.
