Dave Mulloy

The service is saddened to share news that ex-colleague Dave Mulloy, who worked with us in Chelmsford EOC from 2009-2012, passed away last month.

Dave was a well-known, respected and admired dispatcher during his three years with us, both with his EOC team and with colleagues on the road.

Dave’s family are welcoming all EEAST staff who would like to join them to say goodbye at his funeral, which is taking place at 2pm on 21st March at Southend Crematorium. You can wear whatever you wish, but are asked to somehow incorporate ‘a touch of red’ to honour Dave’s love for Liverpool Football Club.

The service will be followed by a gathering at The Salvation Army Hadleigh Farm Tea Rooms (SS7 2AP), from 3.30-5.30pm, and again all are welcome.

Instead of floral tributes, Dave’s family is asking people to consider making a donation to the Eleanor Hobbs ward at Southend General Hospital, who cared for Dave in his last weeks. You can make a donation here at JustGiving.
