Death of PTS ambulance liaison officer

The Trust is sad to announce the death of West Essex PTS Ambulance Liaison Officer Dilys Jack.

Dilys passed away this morning (9th January 2018) at home with her family following an 18-month battle with cancer.

Dilys was a dedicated member of the ambulance service having worked previously in the Essex Ambulance Service before returning to EEAST in 2014 when the Trust secured the local PTS contract.

Liz McEwan, Head of Urgent and Scheduled Care, said: “Dilys was a committed and valued member of the team who was well liked and respected by her peers and staff. She will be hugely missed by those who worked with her.”

The Trust will publish funeral arrangements when notified.
