Clinical Quality Matters (CQM) logo

Our April issue of Clinical Quality Matters is now available to download.

It looks at ‘complex patients’ and includes articles on:

  • traumatic falls and fractures, and the falls assessment
  • the assessment of, and the safe use of medication in, the older adult
  • dementia
  • restraint and section 136
  • postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS), and Ehlers-danlos syndrome (EDS)
  • myasthenia gravis
  • how, why and the way we learn
  • the answer to the last issue’s ‘clinical conundrum’ on the Mental Capacity Act, and a new scenario around social isolation.

Clinical Quality Matters is EEAST’s clinical publication that’s written by staff, for staff, so a big thank you to everyone who has written or contributed articles this month. If you want to put a copy in your station or office, you can access a printable version here.

All previous editions are available internally via our clinical library on East24, but if there’s a topic you want to see in a future issue, please let us know!
