Do you have the potential to be a future leader?

Blurred ambulance

We’re proud to share news of the latest Stepping Up leadership programme, a five-month course to encourage diverse representation in healthcare.

The NHS Leadership Academy is looking for talented individuals from a black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) background with a proven track record and the potential to lead. Aimed at those at bands 5-7, the programme bridges the gap between where applicants are and where they need to be to progress into more senior roles.

Director of People and Culture, Lindsey Stafford-Scott, said: “There’s a growing concern about the absence of BAME colleagues in senior NHS roles; we want to actively support greater representation and make sure that our diverse talent is nurtured and developed. This is a fantastic opportunity and I’d really encourage those who are interested to find out more and apply.”

Applications for the next cohorts close on Friday, 27th January, and all the details about how to get involved can be found on our organisational development pages on East24.

And remember, there are a number of available leadership programmes, masterclasses (including sessions on mentorship, difficult conversations and conflict resolution), and NHS development opportunities available for all colleagues through the Trust. Just visit the East24 talent pages to explore and find out more!
