Do you need to carry over annual leave?

Under the newly signed off annual leave policy employees may carry over to, or bring forwards from, their next annual leave year up to 37.5 hours (pro rata for part time staff) with an expectation that they would make their line manager aware if they wish to do so.

At the moment GRS is unable to carry this out automatically and would require further development to enable this to happen.

Therefore, in the interim (which may be some while) can we ask that, for those of you that wish to carry more than 12 hours (GRS currently does this automatically) up to an additional 25.5 hours or to bring forward up to 37.5 hours, you inform your line manager and the appropriate person locally who manages GRS for your workplace via email so that, as a Trust, we can ensure that your GRS record is correctly manually adjusted.
