ECG won’t send? Please report it on Datix

Manual handling ambulance credited to SCAS

Patient-facing teams will know that our defibrillators can be used to send copies of a patient’s ECG electronically.

This can be really useful if you want to get some further guidance or advice on what you’re seeing from the clinical advice line. However, the defibrillators rely on having strong connectivity and signal to be able to transmit properly.

We know that there are signal issues in some areas of the Trust – if you’re attempting to send a copy of an ECG on scene but it won’t send, please make sure to report it on Datix. We want to monitor and map which areas have low, intermittent, or no signal, and Datix reporting will really help us to do that accurately.

Thank you for your help.
