The Trust hits all national standards for June

Transparent EEAST crest

We continue to make good progress across a wide-range of areas that impact on your day-to-day work here at EEAST.

Our latest figures show more staff are accessing professional development, undertaking mandatory training and are having compassionate conversations with their line managers. These improvements may well be part of the reason why we are also seeing a reduction in short-term sickness and employee relations cases. There is more to do, for example around support for long-term sickness, but this is a positive trend.

We would also like to remind all staff that the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian is available as an option if you need a confidential conversation around any concerns or issues you may have.

These updates were shared with the Board last week, as was our latest performance against national standards.

You will be pleased to know that we hit all national standards, and have made significant progress in reducing long waits for C2, C3 and C4 patients.

All this information, and more, is available in the latest Board papers which can be found here.
