EEAST paramedic facing criminal charges

Cambridgeshire police have charged an EEAST employee, in connection with the rape and sexual assault of a number of women. This will be made public today at 10am (11th September).

We recognise that this could be very upsetting for many of his colleagues and patients. It is also possible that other allegations may come to light, as a result of the charges being made public. The Trust is clear that we want to support anyone who has been affected by this.

We would encourage anyone with concerns, in relation to these allegations, to call a dedicated number for volunteers, public and staff on: 01603 481225, at any time, or call the police on 01480 422567.

Other sources of support include:

As legal proceedings are now active, you should not comment about this on social media. These important restrictions, set by the police, are in place to prevent information in the public domain from interfering with any resulting court case.
