Electronic patient care records are coming soon

ePCR using toughbook

From Monday, 16th October, Toughbooks will start to appear on vehicles in east Norfolk.

This allows staff to complete electronic patient care reports (ePCRs) instead of using paper report forms (PRF).

All staff should already have a personal log-in for Siren ePCR (username and password is your payroll number)

Staff who have not got an SIREN account set-up can still log in to Siren as a non-system user.

There will also be drops in sessions for you in east Norfolk, to help you get to grips with the ePCR Siren 4, a chance to refresh and practice with the ePCRs. Session dates are:

Monday, 9th October

Longwater computer room (Rose)

Cromer (Rose)

Tuesday, 10th October

Diss station (Nick)

Thursday, 12th October

Diss station (Alison)

Monday, 16th October

Longwater computer room (Rose & Alison)

Drop in at any time between hours listed (more sessions to follow if needed).

For more answers to your questions answered go to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) in the ePCR information folder on your station and in the hospital crew room, or on east24.

Don’t forget you can access ePCR Siren V4 training videos available on EEAST LearnZone http://learn.eastamb.nhs.uk  from any PCs, tablets or smartphones.

If your HALO, DLO or super-user is unable to help you with ePCR related issues, contact ePCR Lead, Rosemarie Sayer, tel. 07515 944416, email Rosemarie.Sayer@eastamb.nhs.uk.
