Enhance your researching skills at Addenbrookes

If you’re working on a project or a piece of work but need some help with researching, the Addenbrookes Medical Library can help you.

The Medical Library collections, at Addenbrookes Hospital, support all aspects of healthcare and medicines. It houses over 50,000 volumes including core textbooks and speciality titles, which can help you with your work.

The library has a series of upcoming workshops on literature searching, critical appraisal and other research skills. These include:

Literature searching for Allied Health Professionals:  23rd January, 2-4pm; 14th February, 10am-12pm; 17th March, 3-5pm; or 10th April, 10am-12pm.

Critical appraisal: systematic reviews: 24th January, 10-11.30am; 21st February, 10-11.30am; or 16th March, 10-11.30am.

Critical appraisal: RCT drug trials: 18th January, 10-11.30am; 8th February, 9-10.30am; or 13th March, 3-4.30pm.

Critical appraisal: physiotherapy interventions: 20th January, 10-11.30am.
