ePCR damage

Following damage to toughbooks costing a thousand pounds in the last two weeks, please remember that units shouldn’t be placed within the trolley mechanism when transferring patients into hospital.

On two occasions, the unit was put behind the head end of the trolley, which when lowered, broke the unit. Whilst these toughbooks are built to tolerate difficult working conditions, the screen won’t take this kind of force.

Please remember toughbooks should not be put within the trolley mechanism where it can easily be damaged, at any time.
