The new ePCR system and working with acute hospitals

epcr Vol 7

In the latest issue of the ePCR newsletter, we look at how the ePCR Replacement Programme will change Acute Hospital workflows to create smoother handovers.

We are in the process of mapping all the different methods currently used by our clinicians to handover in hospitals and will be engaging with Acute staff on upcoming changes.

The first step has involved engaging with key clinical staff from the pilot area including HALOs working with Bedford Hospital, and Luton and Dunstable University Hospitals. We have now collaboratively mapped the current handover processes at both locations.

Find out more about how this will change the handover process and improve the sharing of patient information in real time in Volume 7 of the ePCR programme newsletter Change is Good below.
