“Excellent” out-of-hours service receives high praise

The Trust’s out-of-hours service in Bedford has been praised in a new patient survey, with 100% of people surveyed ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with the experience they received.

The results also showed that 100% of respondents who had to call for help in January would recommend it to a friend or relative.

More than 94% of the 18 respondents said that once the telephone call had finished, they felt “reassured that their problem was being dealt with”.

Comments from respondents included: “I found the service excellent. The doctor was very kind and dealt with my problem straight away.” Another patient said: “The out-of-hours service was excellent.”

Anthony Marsh added: “I’m delighted with these results. It is very pleasing to see that our latest patient feedback reveals such high levels of satisfaction with the service we provide.”
