“Wonderful”, “excellent”, and “extremely professional” were just a few of the compliments made by respondents from our latest patient experience report when speaking about you.

In total, 89 people filled in questionnaires, with more than 98% either satisfied or very satisfied with the overall service they received from staff in November.

The latest figures also show that 100% of respondents trusted our staff, with the same amount also feeling that they were treated with privacy, dignity and respect.

One patient from south west Essex said: “The two members of staff who helped me were exceptional, I cannot praise them highly enough.”

Another patient from south Cambridgeshire said: “I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from all the people I came into contact with, I will forever be grateful and for that I thank you.”

It was also revealed that more than 95% rated the handling of their calls as wither acceptable or very acceptable. However, 5.7% felt the length of time waiting for an ambulance to arrive was unacceptable.

Kevin Brown, Director of Service Delivery, said: “I would like to say thank you to all of our dedicated staff and volunteers who continue to deliver such a high standard of care across the region. Despite the increase in demand we are currently facing I am always reminded of the dedication and hard work made by all of you, something which we are all extremely proud of.”
