Flu vaccines arrive tomorrow

Get your free flu jab

The flu team are pleased to announce that the vaccines arrive at the Trust tomorrow. They will then be dispatched to your local flu vaccinator, who will be arranging clinics near you soon.

Please check the clinic page for your nearest clinic.

This year a non-egg variety of the vaccine is available. This vaccine is specifically for those who have experienced an allergic reaction to eggs /egg products in the past. If you want to find out more about this vaccine please email flu@eastamb.nhs.uk or speak to your local vaccinator who will source one for you.

For staff that are currently working from home, shielding or vulnerable please contact your line manager for local clinics, look on the clinic page for your nearest clinic or email flu@eastamb.nhs.uk for help. We have taken special measures to ensure our clinics are safe for all.

In addition, anyone who has the flu vaccine will automatically be entered into the prize draw to win a £25 Marks & Spencer voucher.

The first draw will take place on October 30th. There will be 10 draws (each sector x 6, AOC x 1, support staff x 1, Trust wide inc. medically exempt x 1 and a Trust wide compliant* group x 1). If you have your vaccine, you will be automatically entered into the relevant draw and both whole Trust draws, so you will have three chances to win! A second draw, with the break down as above, will take place on November 30th. If you were entered into the October draw you will also be entered into the November draw.
* compliant is anyone who returns a consent form, whether they have the vaccine or not.
