Forty student paras start training

This month 44 student paramedics have started their clinical training in Cambourne and Melbourn!

Tutor Andy, who is leading the course, said: “It is really exciting to welcome our latest group of student paramedics to the Trust as they start their journey to become qualified paramedics. We have a really good group of new recruits, all of whom have been working hard to prepare for their course. As they progress through their training, they will help make a real difference to the service we give to patients.”

The Cambourne course started on 1st September and is due to finish on 14th November.

So far the Trust has made 374 offers to new student paramedics, getting ever closer to the target of 400 this year.
