Sudden deaths, particularly in our young patients, are the calls we don’t want to think about, but are becoming more common.

Gresham College are holding a lecture on sudden death in the young in London and all staff are welcome to attend.

The lecture by Professor Martin Elliott, Professor of Physic and Co-Medical Director at The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, looks at the causes of sudden death, its impact on families, the difficulties of carrying out research, and some of the legal and social obstacles to discovering more.

Taking place on Wednesday, 18th January, 6-7pm at the Museum of London, the lecture is free to attend and you don’t need to make a reservation. It will be run on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the lecture.
