Free will writing offer extended

Accord Legal Services have extended their offer of a free will writing service to ‘give something back to key workers.’ The service is entirely free of charge and is open to all NHS staff across England, Wales and Scotland.

Appointments are conducted online, using Skype, Zoom or another online conferencing platform and usually take around half an hour. Once instructions have been taken, they are sent to Accord’s legal team who will draft the will and return it by post directly to the client. All the wills are bespoke rather than being drafted using an online template. Accord will not stipulate that they need to be executors within the will and there are no hidden fees.

A spokesperson for Accord said: ‘This pandemic has proved that none of us know what is around the corner. Making a will may not be at the top of everybody’s list of priorities right now, but it is nonetheless vitally important. We want to make it easier than ever before for our key workers to cross this task off their to-do list.’
