Frontline staff wanted for new survey

RRV line up blue sky

Can you help Tessa Mochrie, a EEAST Research Paramedic, with a study she is undertaking as part of her Masters degree in Criminology at the University of Essex?

Tessa is exploring ambulance staff experiences and attitudes of ‘Prevent’, the UK Government’s counter-terrorism strategy. She would like to know:

  • Whether staff found the Prevent training useful
  • How confident staff feel in detecting radicalisation
  • Staff knowledge about making a Prevent referral
  • Overall staff attitudes about Prevent

All frontline patient-facing staff are invited to participate in a short (18 question), anonymous and confidential survey, which should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

Please access the survey here: Frontline staff Prevent survey.

Anyone interested in learning more about The Prevent Strategy can visit the Government website.

If you would like further information about this survey, please email

The deadline for survey completion is 24th August 2020.
