Graduate paramedics enjoy day at EEAST

Graduate paramedic event 2013

Graduate paramedics described an introductory session to the Trust as “really well organised” and a “very friendly, fun day.”

Abi and Mark  from St George’s University, London were part of a group of 15 people, either graduates or students due to graduate in June, who came to Trust headquarters in Melbourn on Friday (10th May) for the first stage of recruitment.

The group took part in various activities on the day, including designing a new sepsis pathway and a new magazine concept to sell on behalf of the Trust. Operational staff joined HR staff to assess how the students interacted with each other and how they presented their work to determine whether they would progress to the next stage.

If successful at interview, conditional job offers will be made to the candidates, with a tailored induction programme earmarked for October, which means new graduates will be on the road before Christmas.
