Graduation day at Chelmsford training centre!

Multiple celebrations took place on Friday (17th April) at Chelmsford training centre, as 18 student paramedics and five direct-entry paramedics finished their courses.

The 18 student paramedics will now be joining the frontline, with 15 working in mid-Essex, two in north Essex and one in south-east Essex.

The five direct-entry paramedics have joined EEAST from other ambulance services and all passed assessments in endotracheal intubation and advanced life support for adult, paediatric and new-born patients.

Course Leader Gideon said: “I would like to congratulate all of the course participants on their attitude, work ethic and success. The student paramedic course is very intense and they earned the success that they achieved. I would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the tutors who worked on this course for their boundless energy, enthusiasm and knowledge, which ensured the students received the highest standard of tuition.”

Chief Executive Anthony Marsh added: “Congratulations to all of our new recruits to EEAST and a huge well done for their dedication to passing their courses in Chelmsford. We welcome you to the frontline and hope you have a long and successful paramedic career.”
