Guidance: safeguarding colleagues against allegations

Blurred ambulance

A document which details how the safeguarding team can help if there is an allegation made against you is available online.

The guidance is available on East24 and refers to all staff, including volunteers and contractors who work for or on behalf of EEAST.

The team will look into cases where there is a concern or allegation that someone working or volunteering with children or vulnerable people:

  • has or may have harmed a child/vulnerable person
  • may have committed a criminal offence related to a child/vulnerable person
  • behaved towards a child or children in a way that indicates they may pose a risk or harm to children/vulnerable person.

You can download a copy of the guidance here, but if you have any questions you can contact the safeguarding team at eoeasnt.safeguarding@nhs.net.
