Health Foundation innovations to improve health care

The Health Foundation, an independent charity working to improve the quality of healthcare in the UK, is looking for projects that aim to improve healthcare delivery and/or the way people manage their own healthcare, as part of their new Innovating for Improvement programme.

A total of £1.5 million is available for up to 20 teams to test and develop innovative ideas to improve healthcare delivery in the UK, with each team receiving up to £750,000 of funding, over 15 months, to support the implementation and evaluation of their health care innovation project.

Applications can come from any health or health and social care provider organisation in the UK where healthcare services are delivered free at the point of delivery. Projects must demonstrate that their idea fits with one of the four innovation descriptions outlined in the call for applications. For more information, visit the Health Foundation website.
