Heart Failure Study Day

The Clinical Cardiac Network (hosted by Royal Papworth Hospital) is holding its first study event, which is now open for registration.

Royal Papworth Hospital is one of the largest specialist cardiothoracic (heart and lung) hospitals in Europe and includes the country's main heart and lung transplant centre. 

Over the last three years, it has performed the highest number of heart surgery procedures in the UK whilst achieving the country’s lowest cardiac surgery mortality rate.

The Heart Failure Study Day takes place on Friday 18th October 2019 at the Moller Centre, Cambridge.
Subjects include:

  • Current Guidelines in Heart Failure and Identification in Primary Care
  • Renal Dysfunction in Heart Failure
  • Echocardiography in Heart Failure
  • Short and Long Term Mechanical Circulatory Support
