Help get your colleague to the Arctic

Martin Grove - Get me to the Arctic

Martin Grove, Emergency Medical Technician at Waveney is asking for our support to help get him to the Arctic.

An avid sportsman in his spare time, Martin has applied to join 18 other people from around the world on the Fjallraven Polar, which is a 300km journey From Norway to Sweden by Husky Sled.

In order to join the team, Martin needs to secure the most amount of votes out of all the UK/ Benelux competitors. Currently, he is in 3rd place with two weeks of the competition left to go.

Previously, Martin has taken part in a 110km trek through the arctic Sweden in aid of Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS), returned to do the walk for Ollies heroes and recently participated in TREK24 to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) 24/7 campaign.

Martin said: “I am asking for some 'Green' power to get me to the top and be able to live this dream adventure and raise money and promote mental health wellbeing by documenting the journey through my YouTube channel.

“I’m asking everyone to come together to #GetMeToTheArctic.”
