Identifiable information on personal devices

Please be reminded when attending any incident, you are not to take any pictures on non-Trust devices of the attending scene, outside or inside properties, or of patients.

No identifiable information regarding an incident should be recorded on personal devices.

This news article on BBC, published in 2018, details how a police officer was sacked after sharing images from a crash scene, this also led to a criminal investigation being undertaken.

The imaging policy is currently being reviewed and updated and will be available shortly.
