Jeremy Kyle does ride-out for new TV series

EEAST RRVs and amb on scene

Radio and television presenter Jeremy Kyle will be taking a look behind the scenes at EEAST this weekend as he joins us for a ride-out.

Television company ITV will be filming for a new series of the Kyle Files, where Mr Kyle investigates high-profile issues that impact on people's lives across Britain today. The filming will occur on a Saturday night  and aims to focus on people who drink to excess and the impact that has on the emergency services.

The communications team has been working with producers to ensure they only film with staff who are happy to do so. However if any other colleagues are filmed, the producers will seek permission to use the footage from the individuals during the editing process (and it is completely up to each individual whether they grant or deny permission).

The producers have also signed the Trust’s observer document, agreed to maintain patient confidentiality at all times, and to switch off the cameras when asked to do so by EEAST staff.

The new series of the Kyle Files is set to hit TV screens soon – we’ll make sure to share the link to our episode here on Need to Know!
