Joe Lomax

It is with much sadness that we share news today that Joe Lomax, one of our dedicated volunteer drivers, passed away unexpectedly on Friday (18^th September). 

Joe was one of our longest serving volunteer drivers, giving up hundreds of hours of his time to support patients on their journeys to and from hospital. A popular man and committed volunteer, Joe will be very sadly missed by everyone that knew him.

Our thoughts are very much with Joe’s family, friends, and fellow volunteers; Joe's funeral will be held on Friday, 2nd October at 10.30am at the West Suffolk Crematorium, Risby (Bury St Edmunds). 

Joe's family has asked that any donations for Joe go to St Nicholas Hospice or the East of England Air Ambulance. These donations came be made c/o East of England Co-Operative Funeral Services, Cornard Road, Sudbury, CO10 2XA.
