Join the festive cheer at emergency services carol concert

Ambulance side shot

It might not be the right time to break out the ‘jingle bells’ (yet), but here’s another date for your Christmas diaries.

This year’s Suffolk emergency services carol service will be taking place at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Monday, 12th December at 7pm.

This is a free service for all of us and our families and hot drinks and mince pies will be available after the service.

The service will also be a first for our new chaplains. Chaplain Lynda Logan said: “It is a privilege to be able to hold the commissioning of our new chaplains in such a beautiful setting and on such a joyful and festive occasion.  Just as the Christ-child came in peace as a servant, so the chaplains will promise to serve the needs of those who work in our ambulance service.

"Chaplains provide confidential pastoral and emotional support and spiritual guidance, when requested, to all levels of staff, volunteers and their families, operational and administrative, regardless of a person’s faith, belief or none, culture or sexual orientation. Chaplains may be contacted directly by anyone wishing to speak with them."
