Keeping fleet firmly on the ground

Bus on Ramp

Fleet teams are working tirelessly to make sure vehicles and the kit on board is safe and ready to use in the extreme pressures the Trust is currently facing.

Workshops, clinical engineers and make-ready teams are working around the clock to ensure the Trust’s fleet enables staff to ‘Drive to Arrive’ with as little risk as possible of vehicles breaking down or equipment failure.

Paul Henry, Deputy Director of Operations Support, said: “These teams are at full stretch to provide every resource possible to staff and patients. Every one of them is constantly going the extra mile to make sure vehicles and equipment are safe and will do the job you need them for.”

Vehicles are being repaired and maintained as quickly as possible and staff are asked to please have patience while vehicles are under maintenance.
