Know a potential winner? Make your nominations for the EEAST awards now!

We’re delighted to announce that the 2016 long service, graduation and celebration awards will be held in October.

This special event will recognise outstanding contribution, long service, qualifications, and Chief Officer Commendations.

This year, six of the awards will be chosen based on nominations by staff and volunteers, giving you the best opportunity possible to help formally recognise peers and colleagues for their work and commitment.

Shortlisting will be done by the executive team in early August against the criteria set out on this East24 page and those who have been shortlisted will be contacted soon afterwards, and asked to RSVP by the end of August. This is to allow all the intricate arrangements that need to be in place for a successful ceremony to run as smoothly as possible.

You are welcome to nominate more than one person per category, and to make a nomination in more than one category but you do still need to fill out a separate form for each submission you make to help us administrate it quickly and accurately.

Nominations can also be made for CEO commendations. Only a handful of these will be awarded on the evening, for exceptional actions in order to recognise individuals going above and beyond what would normally be expected of them. Any commendation nominations received after 3rd August will automatically roll over to 2017; if you’d like to nominate a colleague, volunteer, member of the public, or colleague from the NHS or emergency services, then all you need to do is visit East24 for more about criteria and where to send your nomination.
