Latest IAPs look forward to getting in the driving seat

Intermediate ambulance practitioners learning the ropes at Newmarket training centre will be on the road next week to start their driver training.

Led by Andy Benstead, Ginny Green and a team of tutors, the clinical training for 14 new staff came to an end today (Friday), and the group will now be put through their motoring paces with driver tutors.

The training programme is lasting 10 weeks, and they’ve been sharing the centre with a group of associate ambulance practitioners who complete their whole course next week (more to come then!).
