The wellbeing and mental health of our staff and volunteers will be the focus of the latest public Board meeting on Wednesday (24th May).

With the launch of the health and wellbeing hub at the meeting, and the anniversary of the MIND Blue Light pledge, the execs and non-execs will be reinforcing the Trust’s strategy to improve the support for people here at EEAST.

Held at Melbourn HQ, the meeting will also cover the new ambulance sustainability review and formation of Midlands and East  Programme Board which is looking at how our trust, with EMAS and WMAS, can improve working practices together.

The normal monthly reports will also be covered, including finance, clinical quality, patient experience and performance. There have been clinical improvements on cardiac arrest outcomes, and the meeting will hear that for the most seriously ill patients cared for in April, 73.79% were attended within eight minutes just shy of the 75% target.

Everyone is welcome to the meeting which starts at 1.30pm, and Twitter users can follow #EEASTBoard during the meeting if you can’t be there in person.
