Leadership Message from Jon Moore

Jon Moore

I am always impressed by the commitment of our staff to achieve the best for our patients, partners and communities that we serve.

Even though we continue to face many challenges and changes, our staff continue to move forward and perform for us, this is the foundation upon which we operate and each of us have our part to play to continue our great service.

As one chapter closes for EEAST another will begin. As I reflected on the recent changes and the workings within my own team it struck me how often we call upon our Business Continuity to keep our service running as these changes occur for us and how much each of us digs into that next level of resilience to continue moving forwards when under pressure.

We still have lots of work to do and only a dedicated and motivated team can continue to do so and I am thankful that we have our dedicated staff across EEAST that rise up for every new challenge to make our service the best it can be.

There are many aspects on going for our transformation, and there will be more changes ahead for all of us.

My team are looking at how we can improve our resilience for those more difficult or complexed incidents that we can face, this includes better training for our management teams and improving how we communicate across the emergency services with our partners during such pressured times.

We are also reviewing our internal Business Continuity plans across the trust to ensure we are prepared. But this is only one small part of the on going work in the Trust with our partners.

We can only achieve this transformation together as a team and I know we have the great foundations we need, thank for all your hard work and efforts.
