Meet the quality improvement team

EEAST RRVs and amb on scene

Our quality improvement team is clinically led and focusses on improving outcomes for patients across the Trust.

The small team of five work with colleagues to improve the quality of care we give to our patients. They are able to support and highlight any innovations you may have and progress ideas and concepts, simply by listening and learning from your experiences. The team is currently touring the region on the quality roadshows – which are a chance for you to meet them and share your thoughts and ideas.

Quality Improvement Team Lead Lewis Andrews said: “You can get in touch with us about anything and everything. Any ideas, comments – anything you would like to raise, that could improve the quality of care we provide, we want to hear from you. It doesn’t have to be clinical. You can get in touch through our dedicated email address or by popping along to one of our quality roadshows.

“As a Trust we need to continually improve best practice to ensure we are providing the highest standard of care. We can do this by continually reviewing and reflecting on our patient’s experience and views and thoughts of our colleagues.”

There was a positive response from the work that was achieved within all areas of the Trust during the preparation phase for our Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection in April of last year. The team continue to support leaders in monitoring areas that were highlighted during the inspection, and offer support in continued progression against these actions.
