Mentor development workshops available to staff

RRV with blurred paramedic

A series of one day workshops supporting mentor development will be taking place across the Trust in the next two months.

The training day is ideal for any staff member, but would be of particular benefit to senior EMTs and paramedics who are awaiting a level 5/6 university mentor course, or those who would like to support mentorship and gain some development.

The course runs from 9am-5.30pm, and will focus on mentorship and the evolving clinical role, assessment and mentorship, PAD completion and supporting students.

The dates are:

  • Thursday, 6th October – Chelmsford training centre
  • Tuesday, 11th October – Barnham RAF base, Thetford
  • Thursday, 13th October – Southend ambulance station
  • Wednesday, 19th October – Weeley ambulance station.

We are awaiting confirmation of dates in Watford and Longwater, but once arranged these will be advertised on Need to Know.

Overtime will be paid, but abstractions will unfortunately not be possible.

If you are interested in the course or have any queries please email Steve Barren, steve.barren@eastamb.nhs.uk, or Shaun Martin, shaun.martin@eastamb.nhs.uk.
