Mentor development workshops available to staff

Blurred ambulance

A series of one day workshops supporting mentor development will be taking place across the Trust in the next month.

The training day is ideal for senior emergency medical technicians and paramedics who are awaiting a level 5/6 university mentor course, or those who would like to support mentorship and gain some development.

The course runs from 8.30am-6.30pm and will include: mentorship and the evolving clinical role, assessment, feedback, and supporting students.

The dates are:

  • Thursday, 30th June – Southend ambulance station
  • Monday, 4th July – Basildon ambulance station
  • Thursday, 7th July – Peterborough ambulance station
  • Thursday, 14th July – Chelmsford training centre.

Overtime will be paid, but abstractions will not be possible.

If you are interested in the course, or have any queries, please contact education and training officers Steve and Shaun, by emailing steve.barren@eastamb.nhs.uk or shaun.martin@eastamb.nhs.uk.

More dates and locations will be published on Need to Know soon.
