MiDOS training and engagement days

A national database of all services commissioned within the NHS, which provides information on how they can be accessed, is available to all staff.

The Directory of Services (DoS) database can be accessed through ‘search engine’ MiDOS, where you can view a list of relevant services depending on your patient’s location and needs. You will find information such as what the service provides, opening hours and contact information (telephone number and/or address).

We are holding a number of engagement days, where staff can drop in to see how to access and use MiDOS. Dates for these are:

• 22^nd May at Luton and Dunstable Hospital
• 5^th June at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital
• 19^th and 26^th June at Peterborough City Hospital
• 3^rd July at Southend Hospital

The simple search engine can be accessed through any web browser (IOS and Android apps will be released very soon),using individually assigned log-on details. We have also produced a training video which can be seen here.
