Minister joins Trust to install defibrillator in Norfolk

Neatishead defib

The Minister of State for Care and Support, Norman Lamb MP, joined Trust staff and members of the public to launch a new defibrillator in a Norfolk Broads village on Friday (29th August).

Community Partnership Manager Andrew Barlow taught residents of Neatisham how to use the lifesaving equipment – and with this latest addition there are now around 100 public access defibrillators in Norfolk.

Andrew said: "There was a tremendous amount of support and it's a real credit to the village to see this new kit setup for everyone to use.

"It's important that people know where the defibrillator is and how to use it so we gave training to more than 40 people."
